Tandridge Canoe Polo Club

Water, Action, Fun

Tandridge Canoe Polo is a community club based around Oxted, London (M25 Junction 6) – our aim is to help people enjoy all types of kayaking and canoeing.

We are a club for juniors (age 12 plus) with a growing team of adults to support, help train and HAVE FUN!

Even if you've never canoed before you're welcome to come along to watch or join in.  Beginners, improvers and families are welcome.

There are 2 canoe polo leagues, which run in two terms from September to December and from January to Easter.

The summer months are spent outdoors with weekly sessions at Guildford lido and visits to lakes, rivers and whitewater centres.  There are also weekly slalom training sessions.

Activities range from a relaxing paddle to advanced whitewater kayaking, so there's something to suit all interests and abilities.

A bit of background..... Nick has CRB clearance, a current first aid certificate and is a BCU Level 2 CCK Trainee Coach with Tandridge Canoe Club. He's a competent whitewater paddler and has done a Whitewater Safety and Rescue Course at the Tryweryn. He has helped on whitewater intro's at the Nene, also on Star Training and Paddlepower Training courses, but you will not have seen him regularly as his children are still too young to be club members
